Handmade dolls are made to be loved for years, but a little care goes a long way in keeping the fabric, embroidery, and stitching looking their best. Here's how we recommend looking after yours.

1. Keep it out of direct sunlight Prolonged sunlight fades fabric dyes and weakens stitching over time. Display your doll somewhere bright but out of harsh, direct sun.

2. Spot-clean, don't soak Gently wipe with a barely damp cloth rather than washing or soaking — this protects the embroidery and stuffing from coming loose.

3. Store it dry If storing for a while, keep it somewhere dry and ventilated, ideally wrapped in breathable cotton cloth rather than plastic.
